As I promised, the VP containing all the ships (and maps) that will appear in FOW: COTS .. at least I think that's all

Vasudan, HOL and terran ship galore..... a few terran and vasudan ship as well as the shivan armada are being..."prettyfied" for the next chapter (FOW:DOTA) and won't be in. In case you wonder that includes the Phoenix, Archangel, Armageddon and Shrike.

I'll post the ship.tbl that goes with it in a moment.

No weapons.tbl and effects yet, since a lot of work is being done on them..so don't forget to change the weapons loadout..or wait for the effects VP.
Planet and background pofs and maps also not included.

Some of the ship entries in the tbl file don't have models . As in - the ships are listed , but have no models .

F'course.. I didn't say I'd give you ALL the ship..just those needed for the next part of FOW..

The ship table I gave you is the direct copy of the table from my FS data/tables folder, minus a few ships removed to to shiplimit.

I may have left a ship or two in there that shouldn't be in there and there's certanly a lot of stock ships in the tbl. That tbl was meant for ppl to extract the ships they are interested in from it. I could have made a modular table for every ship, but that would require way too much of my time as it is

Also, if you have trouble with the Falcon and Whitehall, it's probably becouse the .pof name referenced in the tbl is incorrect. I have been testing several versions of those models and have put the latest in the VP, but the pofs are there. Just simply re-naming the pofs of the table reference should fix it

Having the problem I've posted in another thread with most of the large ships in this pack. Used the largespacestation, kabechet, and hedetet so far. They all rattle around like crazy when I hit them with even a small laser. Is this something I've done wrong, or something wrong with the models?

Something like that doesn't happen for me and it shouldn't happen. I have no idea what could be causing that. Either the VP didn't download properly, the temporary .ibx file is wrong (in which case delete it and let FSO build a new one) or somethings wrong with you exe.

Also note that I actually didn't download anything since it won't let me.

These days, even FileFront's being a b**** on me. It wasn't this bad the last time, what is up with them.

I have to try again and again, hoping for just one connection to get through. At times, it gets so bad that I can't even get the file after several hours, after which I give up and try again another day.

RapidShare, forget it. The way ISP's work here, it's also a no-go. IP address jumping or something like that, I don't know.

Wow, I really like that Vasudan installation called "VasSBaseF" but I couldn't get at it in the ships.tbl. Can I have its table entry or do I have to make one myself?
