Same way you get awesome visuals for retail assets (like the Orion, Herc II, Perseus, Aeolus, and Deimos, most notably) from mediavps_3612 when bp is the active mod.

Like Scotty said, BP2 contains a mod.ini which links it to BP1 and then in turn to the MediaVPs.
