Title: Design shtuff
Post by: Rictor on February 29, 2004, 02:51:54 pm
Here's some stuff I made for my portfolio for an interview with Sheridan College.  One is a website (concept) and the other is some abstract art. They're just big enough to stretch the forum, so I'll just link to them.

C&C please.

That's some pretty good stuff there!  No complaints here at all.

Personally, I'd have given some degree of transparency to the white in the first and some faint pattern backgrounds to second. But they're pretty cool.

The first one looks almost identical to a cover of a graphics book i bought in paris, cant tell you the name cause its at college, but it was green and yellow (if memory recalls).

All the same, good stuff.

aye i like.
good work :)

btw, wat programs did you use?
I use photoshop, but I'm thinking of grabbing something else when it comes to drawing vector shapes etc., Because in photoshop it becomes a nightmare just trying to get a bloody circumference of a circle... maybe Illustrator...

ah well, but yeh. nice work :D

I used Photoshop. I should have used Illustrator, but I'm so comfortable in PS that I do everything in it. Even things I should do with other apps :):)
One day, it'll bite me in the ass, I just know it.

Sheepy: Wouldn't surprise me. Its a very trendwhore like design :D:D But if it was a book, its was probably much better than this.

Very polished looking Rictor, which is the most important part. Me likes. :)
