Hello. new member here, but long time FS2 fan.
I've noticed some campaigns miss the scroll up/down arrows in the briefing room, which means i can't read it all, and some of them are quite long :sigh:.
the only information i've been able to find is it being referred to once as the briefing scroll bug, but never again, so.... is there a fix that everyone but me knows about?
fish.
EDIT: forgot to mention, i've tried this both in 3.6.9 and 3.6.10(updated with turey's installer this morning), and it happens in both of them.

The scroll buttons only appear if you are using mv_core (in the mediaVPs).

funny thing is, i AM using mv_core.....
might be something about in the campaign itself(blue planet).
EDIT: just saw something which might help me. will post after trying it.

ok, i got it fixed.
for anyone that might me having the same problem, try this: make a shortcut of your preferred scp exe, open it's properties and on the "target" box add the command line parameters -mod <mod> mediavps. so for example i used "fs2_open_3_6_9.exe -mod blueplanet, mediavps". then just load the game from that shortcut instead of the launcher or normal exe.

You shouldn't have to do that. I'd expect Blue Planet to have a mod.ini file which took care of that for you. If you select Blue Planet in the launcher's mod tab it should have that effect.

curiously, there's no mod.ini file there... it only came with the vp and "credits.txt". just to be sure, i downloaded it from freespacemods.net, maybe the version there is incomplete?

That may be the problem. I'll let them know about this...

There's no mod.ini in the package.
You can both DL one and read info regarding its correct use if you use The FAQTM(link is in my siggy) :)

I'll reupload the main rar to include a mod folder with mod.ini file. Give me a couple hours to get it up and online. For those who already downloaded the campaign can use the one that Cobra put up in the other thread.
