Today? I stole the winamp playlist (and the headphones, for that matter) from the a friend of mine that works here too, and it has anything from A-Ha (I'll do my crying in the rain), to Ozzy Osbourne (Mr. Crowley), going through Concrete Blonde, Linkin Park, U2, Led Zeppelin and a truckload of other stuff.
Listening to the radio while I was driving to work, they were playing The Calling (Wherever you will go - the damn thing just won't stop playing! Aaaahhh!), Red Hot Chilli Peppers and a lot of local bands none of you would ever have heard about or have any interest in.

Today? I've been up since 4 yesterday, so I don't know what "today" counts as...
Van Halen something, Frank Black and the Catholics "Pistolero", Soul Asylum "Grave Dancers'", Meat Puppets "Too High to Die", Jimi Hendrix, I think some Modern Yesterday, and some really, really loud dude. I have no idea who the last is, but I like him.

I even get excited when I see the north pole."

Nothing. :p
Edit: Wait, I have listened Renegade's music as I was playing it on my brother's computer, as my one can't run, and I haven't even had working sounds in this one for a long time. Format would help, but blah, I don't care if sounds are working or not as this is computer is useless even with sounds. :p
-
I'll just list the CDs I've listened to today, seeing as Winamp is usually open 24/7...

I'm taking 'heard' to mean 'heard the whole of'. Besides, he deserves a beating for even admitting he listened to a Ricky Martin song in part or in full.

Hoobastank - Running away
System of a Down - Aerials
Incubus - Warning
Chevelle - The Red
System of a Down - Chop Suey
The Offspring - Keep Them Seperated

You all should know that I don't listen to music, all my mates think that I am weird, and they're probably right. Instead of music I endlessly listen to the Hitchhiker's Guide and The Goon Show.

Metallica - Seek and Destroy
-
Coldplay - Parachutes

I didn't come up with that acronym - it's just that their name is so long that many people on WinMX and KazaaLite simply acronym it to that the name of the song itself doesn't scroll on to the next page... :p
Hmmm "...acronym it...." - Like I've said before, any noun can be verbed. :D
-
Verb it up, sandwich! (So to speak, at least). :D
-
Heh I listened to a lot of coldplay and Muse. Then I went to my friends house and sang whilst they played jazz funk. It turned out kinda cool because I hadn't sang over that kind of stuff before. If you want examples go find some Herby Hancock tunes, 'doin' it' is really good.

wierd indie kid, according to my brother.......all cos I bought a Cd from a Belgian band no-one had heard of.

[starts playing air bass]
And when I wake up in the morning/ to feel the daybreak on my face/ there's a blood that's flowing through the ceiling/ with a knife to open up the sky's veins! Some things/ Never change...
Anyone who recognizes the song gets recognition in having as strange a taste in music as I do.:D

Oh, you mean Soulwax. Yeah, I have Much Against Everyone's Advice too, from a while back. But my musical taste is too wide (and my brothers' too crappy) for him to attack me.
Well, that said, I'm just the weird music person in my house now - to all my family members. I tried to introduce my family to some of my favourite bands. My family said "No." :p

Since George W. got to the White House. :p
I wasn't trying to intravenously inject them with heroin either, though.
-
The entire black album by Metallica, end to end :)
Now I'm going to go listen to Sad But True over and over again until I've learnt it :)

Bah...amateurs... :p
-
Uh today....
Daft Punk - One more time
Paul Oakenfold - Ascension
Nickelback - Too Bad

Boy, next thing you know we'll be getting so bored someone is gonna post up a thread titled: "OT - Porn You Jacked Off to Today"
-
NO :o
Hehe, anyways - today I've mostly listened to a couple of films. Resevoir Dogs and Terminator 2. Various tracks from one of the Gorillaz albums, Tool, Incubus and a few other random things.
-

Yes...I am a Toolhead.... :)
-
The Grudge was blew away the rest of that days acts (EDGEFEST is a big outdoor festival) I'm sure that the rythm of my heart actually went with the music. I'm particulalry fond of Lateralis (the song) It just seems to flow so beutifuly. If you don't have it, go find the dvd set, its well worth it.

Is there a VHS of it? I don't have a DVD player. :(
I prefer the older Tool like on the Undertow and Opiate CD's but I still like them all. :)
I hope nobody says Manyard is their Idol. He is a Grade-A physcopath.:)
-
I'm not sure if there's a VHS. It does have two songs of Undertow (Sober and something else) and two songs of Aneima(spelling? This is just off the top of my head) Have a look.
-
I realise this is derailing the thread and all - sorry - but it's for a good cause ;)
I've got the AEnima and Latarus albums, plus some stuff from the net... I intend to get the others in time but money problems makes that a real no no. As for my favourite songs... Latarus, Parabola, The Grudge, Ticks and Leaches, Schism, Stinkfest and Triad are my favourites in no particular order. But that certainly doesn't make the others any worse! Tool certainly kick ass - revolutionary music for sure, with style as strong as bands like RATM when they were in their prime. Incredible.
-
will do.
-
I just love how they are so different than most of the other bands currently in music today. They're loud, proud and very musically deep. One of my favourites is on AEnima, can't rember the name, but its the one in german. I once listened to it for an hour before realising I had the CD Player set to loop the one song.
-
Opaite is 8 bucks and is a must. :)
-
Well, most of my last 24 hours was spent banging my fist against my monitor in a last ditch effort to get my computer back on to our network after I reformatted it. There really wasn't much rhythm to it, so I won't count that as music. :p
This morning however, I'm listening to Mest Wasting Time and my Radiohead MP3 folder.
-

On a completely different note, I love Absinthe.

The Jimmy Swift Band (http://www.thejimmyswiftband.com/) out of Halifax, N.S.
Sort of a rock/techno/funk/jazz type band...
The live version of Now They Will Know they have on their site is great...
