I finally had the chance to screw around and fix my crashing. Now I have problems with the lighting on ships. If someone could tell me how to take a screenshot I would post it.

Hit the Print Screen button.  It'll copy a picture to the Clipboard, which you can paste into any graphics program.

AFAIK it'll do both - save to the clipboard and to the disk.  The disk is probably more convenient.
