Screenies: That's a good idea.

Condensed verion of the story's beginning:
An oddly behaving unstable jump node is found in Beta Cygni which turns out to be maintained by a malfunctioning Knossos on the far side. The GTVA needs to take control of the device lest the Shivans find it first and use it to enter our space again. But once control of the operation of the Knossos has been secured and the resource-rich systems lying beyond it have been discovered, the GTVA gets greedy and tries actually to wrest the systems from the scant Shivan presence in the area. The rest is for me to know, and you not to.
The scroll referred to by the title is the record of Vasudan scribes writing after the event. The whole campaign unfolds as an enactment of the words of the Scroll (which, incidentally, allows me lots of opportunity for foreshadowing, symbolism, and so on when writing up the passages from the Scroll to go in the command briefings), as the Vasudan scribes relate the history of the
Atankarz'ythi and how they came to be. Who are the
Atankarz'ythi? Well, one won't find out their story until one has played the campaign.
