First of all, I find fighting rebel groups within the GTVA - boring. I extremely like fighting Shivans. They're so - unpredictable.
The campaign will probably consist of about 5 intro missions, where Alpha 1 destroys cruisers that are harassing GTVA shipping in the nebula. The next 5-7 will consist of several larger Shivan vessels that actually pose a threat to GTVA operations in the nebula. The GTVA takes care of these threats. There will be a chain of events in one of the missions where Alpha wing will decide the outcome of the campaign. If positive, Alpha wing will destroy the SD Nebereth, a Ravana-class destoyer that will lead to further exploration of surrounding nebular vicinity. The GTVA will eventually face a threat that will force the GTVA to withdraw from a section of the nebula but does not lose control of all nebular operations. Destroyers will pour through one node connecting the Shivan side of the nebula and the GTVA side. The GTVA will order the node collapsed, thus ending the campaign with a stalemate (About 10 missions). If negative, the player will attempt to destroy the SD Nebereth, but the Nebereth will escape. GTVA operations in the nebula will then face rain upon rain of defending Shivan forces. The mothership of the 213th Black Trojans, the GTD Mercadia, will fall to the Shivans. The event turns in favor for the Shivans when several Lucifer destroyers and a never-before encountered vessel codenamed the SD Diablo enters the GTVA nebula. All GTVA forces will withdraw into Ikeya, but the Shivans press on. Ikeya will fall to the Destoyers as GTVA flees for its life. The GTVA will order all nodes to Ikeya collapsed. The the last mission of the losing missions, GTVA command sends the 213th was sent on a suicide mission where all members of the squadron were wiped out. The campaign ends with the GTVA fates in undecided hands.
