yup cel shading rules =)  did the classic  blur layer in photoshop jsut to amke ti look abit less rendered though

jsut incase anyone wonders its not supposed to be eva unit 01 i was jstu playing with lightwave and i had been watching evangelion and it started to take shape  o its pretty closebut i wasn't aiming for a acauly eva 01 think of this as eva 0X

The head is way to big compared to the body (unless you're aiming for SD).

I think he'd look a lot better with the smaller head, but that's because I've been watching way too much NGE. Looks great though, especially good in cel-shading. :):yes:

update

lots of general improvements

smaller head -better chest area - better legs - more details added in places repsotinging the arms slightly they wee to high up before

as you can see graudally turning into eva unit 01 so will fix up the ehad at some point to amke it correct - but gonna fih the old one off too as hes a more evil butal look escpialy while still poly modeled going to sub'ds has rendered him less mechainal looking and i liked that look so as i said will finish him too to then maybe i'll have the fight  =)

I have to admit I really don't like the head.  Looks too doglike.

it's eyes are too big, and it looks like it's smileing, and not that "I'm gona **** you up" smile more of a "oh boy, oh boy, I am so happy and gay" kinda smile (note it's still very very good and I am exadurateing a bit on the happy and gay stuff)

Anyway, dude, I'm loving your progress, but I'm leaning more and more to what Shrike and Bob are saying. I know it looks good in its own right, but after watching way too much Eva, I just think it would look better with a smaller head. :nod:

It looks almost too pretty for an Evangelion. I'm not sure how you should take that - I do agree with the smaller head thing, EVAs don't have human scale.
