Just curious if it does, cause my friend played through it and ended the fight with the EA after they called a ciese-fire in the middle of a mission, while I got to fight it out to the end high in Sol's orbit.

Well, I THINK I got mine off the forum, and downloaded his off the web-site. But I am DEFINATELY sure he ended the EA-GTVA war after he was ordered to destroy the Nemesis's beam cannons (so they wouldn't destroy the...crap, was it the Independence?). I forgot what I did on that mission, but it wasn't where the war ended for me.

Well, there's GTVA chapter 1, and EA chapter 1, and SOC chapter 1.  Are those all parallel campaigns taking place at the same time but from different perspectives?  If so, you could consider those as branches.

That aside, I still never heard of redoing chapter one and it sounds really silly when you could just leave it be and not **** up a good story and move onto chapter two...

Chapter 1 doesn't work anymore with the new tables so a restart is needed.

We also think we can do far better missions now than the ones in R1.

Though there are fewer of us now than there was when R1 was made.

Only ships that aren't pathed now are these:

GVSD Duat
SCa Shiamak
SSJ Gigas
SH Gargant

The last 3 will crash PCS on save, but it does store the path data. Aurora can't be used on them either.

If you want to have a go at any of them let me know and I'll send them over.
