Stealth: Bugger me, how rich are you? That's a hell of a lot of money to blow on fuel every week. Not to mention the amount of crap that thing's gonna throw out in it's emissions (though you can't get busted for that in the US), especially given it's age.

see, i would LOVE to have a civic or something, but it's hard to find a good condition gas 'sipper' like a honda, toyota, etc. that doesn't cost $4000+, because nowdays that's what everyone goes for, and they're hard to find cheap.
actually, as far as emissions go, my 80 cadillac blew away the emissions test. the guy that gave it said that it's typical for the older cars. he said he bought a brand new mustang, and it failed the emissions test, while my 22 year old car (at the time i took the test) passed with flying colors.
Find me any 4 (or even 6) cylinder car for under $1000.00, anywhere in the US, in running condition (body doesn't matter, as long as it runs good and clean) and i'll buy it tomorrow
