Um... from what I've seen, glowmaps are typically pcx or ani, which are 8-bit, not 24-bit.

Pcx are 8-bit palette, but for coloration possibilities that's the same as 32-bit. I know you're right, but IMHO a pure 8-bit format is greyscale.

Actually, it is in a sense. The FS2 techroom models are rotated 0.6 radians, the camera has a FOV of about ($Closeup zoom * 1.3) radians. You just need to se the distance correctly so the whole thing is still in the FOV when rotated :p
