Where is this super influx of newbs and n00bs coming from?

On three seperate forums that I visit, there have recently been popular threads praising freespace and inviting more players to try it out. That might have a hand in it.

Besides, are you complaining? I've got a few links to websites made for games that don't have enough newbies. It's a depressing sight.

I'm not complaining, it's just when we get a giant influx like this, we inevitably get spammers like that member, or ultra n00bs like JoeLo.
