Wanted to call it Odysseus but is that taken?

Anyway I can go for Polyphemus perhaps.  
I'm making this at Guardians request but I've spent so much time on it I think it will have its own separate release. It so far is supposed to be an AWACS and a SUPER heavy bomber (more payload then Ursa). FRED gives an error saying you're not allowed to fly an awacs ship but it saves the mission and works fine anyway  

   
   
   
   

Oh yeah the original model is from a Homeworld MOD called "Derelict" oddly enough... but I've done EVERYTHING on this... subsystems, 3 turrets, 2 radar dishes, retextured it, its the most work I've put on a ship.. its got shields, docking points, paths... the works. It was a good learning experience. The top turret rotates...

Max! One word: Wow! I understand you have no time for the mod lol. Anyway yes odyseus is taken (it's a ulysses mk2, that's a quite logical name indeed). Questiopn? what an AWACS gives more to the player?

Wow, that looks like one mean bomber! What are it's specs (shield / armor stregnths, primary weapon banks / compatibility, secondary weapon banks / size / compatibility, turning rate, speed)? Oh, and exellent job there Max, looks like something the   gods did!

Well, the specs are whatever Guard wants, I guess... its got 1 primary and 3 secondaries..

Venom, I rarely do work outside my Robotech MOD I just thought this would be easy since the model was already done and mapped... however it had subobjects, and then it just exploded into a lot of work, but I learned some useful things that will help us with the SDF-1 and Zentraedi Flagship...

Discussion about the specs has been taken place over ICQ and the WR private forums but sho far this is what is going on:

This bomber is a heavy assault bomber with that radar range thingy (   ).  This bomber has limited manuverability (sp?) and low sheilds.  The speed is not that good.

This bomber was created for the Shivan Juggarnaughts and was not ready when the Juggarnaughts return in Without Remorse 2 but is deployed anyway.

The reason the sheilds are low is because the power is moved to the primary guns (default: Maxims).

This baby can hold twice that of the Ursa.

That is it so far

Heheh. Still, for something that large and powerful, I would expect heavier shields - kind of like protecting your investment, you know?

Yeah. I agree. Or maybe give it more shield power and less power to gun energy since anybody flying it would most probably be using the secondary banks more than the primaries.
