Wordpad works well enough combined with .vpview 32 for extraction...

Hey my whole point is....bluntly (no offense just bluntness) you flip on ppl that don't jump for joy over PCS based on the "Why did I write 5000 lines of code if you're not using it theory"

My point with this was don't go making something not needed and then flip on someone because it's not being used. Its great that ya want to write programs and all...just let's not force feed them to everyone k?  

Now a NEEDED project...I recall talk about support on PCS for 3ds and other formats,..if not I know of modelers around here that can't use TS to save their lives but are killer with 3ds or lihtwave or wahtever,..now there's a project that's needed

he, you want to make a great prog? Do you think yo'd be able to make a prog that can allow users to make hierarchy w/o TS? I know it's maybe too much for your skills, but that would be great.

i will not allow hierarch editing outside of the modelling program - it can cause very dirty things


and as for the 3DS support - i told you _I_ don't feel comfortable writing code for a program i don't use

I did leave support for another programmer to write a plugin for PCS that will do that work

Actually, a tbl editor would be kinda nice. Just because you want to waste time looking for stuff in the text file doesn't make you any more of a modder.
