READ: Where did all the latest posts and threads disappear to?

Earlier today I noticed HLP had problems accessing MySQL database; the mysqld server process was not running. After starting MySQL again, I noticed most of the forum database was gone. Timing matches with weekly maintenance window, it is likely that the database was corrupted because mysqld server process crashed while there was scheduled maintenance running. Naturally we will investigate the reason for this crash. I used the latest backup of the forum database to restore the forums, unfortunately all posts that were posted since last friday are gone.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Seems that everything changed since friday is gone... No more access to TBP forums for me :(
