Its nice, but it doesnt look freespacey at all. try rounding it a bit more like the perseus

Looks like it came out of Wing Commander, and into Star Wars, trying to jump to Battlestar Galactica.

Send it back to the hell it came from.

Nice model though. Nothing to do with the Myrmidon or any FS ship however.

This is 20-25 years after Capella fighter
I guess I could have used that other Perseus-wannabe model for the next space Superiority, but that would be one perseus-like caft on the rooster too many
Or I could have made a new model completely, but FS2 is not the only game I'm modding and time is My Preciouussss...

I dunno... a few tweaks here and there, be great in a WC-verse, but doesn't seem to fit the fat and chunky fs2-verse.

Just cut the missle banks off the perseus and throw em on the ...things... sticking out of the wings

It is definitely a nice ship but I don't think it really fits with the rest of the freespace universe.

Don't know if I've said this before, and I'm worried that I might offend you, but I'll just say it.

I personally feel that you're far better off doing the wham-bam capital ships that rain hell on the enemy rather than small fighters. Or maybe I'm just not fond of square noses, or.... oh well, nevermind. I guess drawn art isn't equal to a 3D model.

Same thing, I like the design but it really doesn't suit the FS theme.

For me I'd put the missile launchers on those black darkened areas on the wings. Fire away!!!

Current textures on it are not very Freespacey, but they make a workd of difference.

I've yet to put guns on it and some minor greebling and well..the texture is a WIP so it's not going to end up looking exactly like this.

While it may not exactly conform to the looks of most FS2 fighters, the question is - does it have to?
What do the Apollo and Myrmodon have in common anyway?

I woulkd agree about the textures.
I think the model would fit better in FS if you extended the wings, gave them a bit of drop and sweep them back a bit.  Also, make the intakes larger, aka into missile banks.  Then shorten the nose and add a missile bay/cannons under it.
Just some suggestions.

Thats definately much better, but im still not fond of the rectangular intake vents at the end of the wings
