Re: Whatever happens in your life
Despite it being described as one of the worst FPSes ever, I'm finding Fire Warrior to be about as good as Half Life. Maybe better, since it actually had some background.
I heard about it. I was interested, but could never find it in Singapore. What's it like?

I found it quite enjoyable too!

I don't see what the problem is with it, maybe because it's Warhammer franchise  :wtf:  :nervous:

Hey it's even voice acted by Burt Kwouk and Tom Baker!

I heard about it. I was interested, but could never find it in Singapore. What's it like?

The graphics are Halflife (the original) like, the gameplay is fairly straightforward, it's probably the only example of 40k damage not suffering severely from Gameplay and Story Segregation (a bolter is a friggin' handheld RPG, so it does damage like a handheld RPG), and I've yet to encounter any real bugs that I could detect. Parts of it are undoubtedly frustrating, but it's actually refreshingly empty of jumping puzzles or the like.

In gameplay it sits somewhere between the Dark Forces I and II, and the original Halflife. And is as I said arguably better than the later since it grasped such concepts as cutscenes and story.

Run me off about forty shivans please. I'm gonna hide them around my building to freak out the cleaners.

Actually it would be fun to print out a Shivan, but I think the next time that machine is idle again I'll print out a skull since my boss has been saying that would be cool one to have as a sample. Gotta convince him that a Shivan would be... *cough* Way past cool.

Ahh Pro/E is expensive but worth the money.
You run the parts out of the printer and make molds from them I guess?
Working with thermoplastics or thermosets after that?

As far as I've seen it and heard from out engineering guys it really is worth the money, quite a powerfull software.
Nope, the machine prints out the actual part itself. Layer by layer. And every piece can also be printed out in color.
But we have printed out some molds for silicone parts.
Habeeb it...

Re watched Shakugan no Shana Second. I just noticed the series ended only in March this year, which is probably why there's no third season yet.

Irritatingly, my 'enter' key now functions normally, whilst my 'v' and ' keys don't work very well now.

I'm seriously considering build a dual Sossaman rig. It's cheap too, and low-power.
NGTM-1R: Currently considering spending the rest of the day in bed cuddling.
GTSVA: With who...?
Nuke: chewbacca?
Bob-san: The Rancor.

I think someone would notice me missing for that long and trying to pass it off as diarrhoea might not work.  :nervous:

Only 5mins to go anyway!

This talk of 'bad' FPS's and mention of Klendathu makes me wish the Starship Troopers FPS worked on my laptop... but it doesn't even start. It installs fine, but when I try to run it it's like "Display splash screen, remove splash screen. Kthxbye."

There's a Starship Troopers FPS?
