FlamingMamba, you're into EDM? You want to meet more guys into EDM? Get into your campus's gym, legit. I'm sure you must know just how hand in hand gym culture and EDM are. I can guarantee you almost 100% that provided you're sociable and don't train like a spastic, you'll end up making friends with at least one but more likely five people who'll frequent EDM parties/events or even host them.

Either that or it might be an Australian thing, but I doubt it. If I pop into your neck of the wood in the States next year we should go get on some EDM.

ive never been hit with a peice of debrits in ksp (usually i just crash into things i was trying to rendez/dock with). idk about anyone else.

i only went a few times, but when i did the gym at NCSU was full of meat heads. and while i guess that doesn't necessarily exclude them from EDM (which i assume is electronic dance music?), i wouldn't bet on it.

in other news, my bootleg nhl gamecenter stream seems to have been cut off.

It might be a recent thing but all the EDM events in Perth are populated almost solely by blokes who'd come off as meatheads, so really that's what you want. You've just got to put in the time and look semi meatheadish too and they'll accept you into their EDM/iron plate fraternity.

i got the tracking information for my 500gb ssd. it was shipped fedex 2 day air, which usually takes 4 days to ship to where i live. but the eta says it wont be here for at least a week. are they even trying anymore? and **** you newegg for not letting me do usps priority, which costs half as much and usually gets here in 4 days.

When I mentioned student groups, I was thinking more of a bit of a nerdier crowd, which I thought might be what FM is looking for. For example, when I was on Engineering Student Council in college, we had an annual school-wide dance party that played a lot of EDM. Getting involved in things like that is what I had in mind.

Yeah one of the guys at Life in Color that I talked to said he was from San Diego and he said "all these kids" on the East Coast are too uptight. They don't know how to let themselves be free because they are too consciencious of what others will think.

I can't speak for the whole East Coast but I will say that that statement is representative of the people in the Bible Belt.

well I gave you the short version of the conversation but basically the guy was pointing out how the people there were willing to go like \m/ and scream when the DJ says "make some noise," and the people here know how to drink and do drugs, but most of the people are kind of reluctant to dance or really cut loose because they're afraid of looking silly in front of other people.

And how beer and drugs aren't necessary to have a good time.
