Alpha I beginning in Moloch?
Yello.
Remember in mystery of the trinity, how you started off in the Acquitaine? I've always wondred how it works. Also, what ships can you start inside? Can you start in a SCv Moloch?
Maybe if I had a coll signature, someone would love me. (just kidding.)

You can launch out of any ship with a fighterbay. Set the arrival point/cue/whatever. However, you don't start out of the fighterbay of the Aquitane, you start on the wing.

Re: Alpha I beginning in Moloch?
Well, you could place your fighter right outside the fighterbay.
That would give the illusion that you just launched.

Or you could have the player launch from the fighterbay.
That would make you launch.

launching a ship from a moloch...

Cowardice is no selfishness, Friendliness is no enemy and Information is no attack platform.

Judge these words wisely and you might make it through this cruel world.

Also, the "launch" you get in that mission is when the Aquitaine adjusts course to go to its waypoint.  Your ship doesn't actually move.
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

I always launch before it moves/changes course.

No, that's your ship sitting still and the Aquitaine adjusting its course in a way that the plane below you appears to go down.

Re: Alpha I beginning in Moloch?
I think cole meant that he flies off before the Aquitaine moves.

It's a pretty clever trick on  :v:'s part though.  Any time I tried to work that out myself rather than just copy the values I usually ended up with the player going splat.
When the reactor explodes, it's usually a sign that you've taken too much damage.

I usually fly off to early. But yea, a pretty cool trick, making it seem like you're getting 'launched' out.
