Vasudan campaigns would be A-1-SUPAR as well, or anything that puts you away from the standard "GTVA pilot on board a Hecate in Vega". Put em on board an installation, or, if you can do it, a small corvette with a moloch style fighterbay. Basically, I like anything that let's you break out of the square.

I *MIGHT* make a campaign about you being stationed on board a corvette.  What happens is this:

The GTVA finds out about the second Knossos Portal, and the Psamtik gets destroyed.  They evacuate the nebula except for a Corvette, which they send on an assignment, to go through the Knossos and explore the region beyond.  You are a pilot stationed on the Corvette the ________(need a name, a good one)[It also has a fighterbay].  You have been recommended for your assignment because of your loyal service to the GTVA.  You find interesting things on this exploration.

This campaign will have attack, defend, bombing, rescue and all sorts of missions.  Length of campaign is unknown.  Would anyone like to see this?

*spoiler alert* There were unanswered questions at a the end of Derelict, particulary *spoiler alert* the part with the Enigma being a GTI ship that attacked the AWACS, and that convoy rescue units that never showed up at the coordinates.

Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Other - something different, new - like Venom's OtT. A combination of most all of these.

I have never, and let me repeat that never played a computer game that pits the player against a weaker or equally matched force in a single player game (excluding tutorials), and all of the campaigns/storys seem to be the same way, With TBP, we have Minbari, with Freespace we have Shivans, with Derelict we have Shivans. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am getting rather sick of shivans and other vastly overpowering forces.

The game wouldn't be very interesting if you win all the time. ;)

This way, you have desperation, struggle, fight for survival. That's the whole point.

I think R2NT would have brought a few new things to the......... Shivan Experience, but oh well.
WE ARE HARD LIGHT PRODUCTIONS. YOU WILL LOWER YOUR FIREWALLS AND SURRENDER YOUR KEYBOARDS. WE WILL ADD YOUR INTELLECTUAL AND VERNACULAR DISTINCTIVENESS TO OUR OWN. YOUR FORUMS WILL ADAPT TO SERVICE US. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

The man said it. That is the reason why I like mission with NTF in it (actually I'm making a short NTF-only campaign right now), we've had so many Shivans already (Fs2 main campaign, derelict, warzone, coming up there are Inferno, Over the Top, and whatever with even more shivans in it), so I'd just like some variety here - the NTF, hell, even the HOL will do. Also a good campaign doesn't have to be with tons of mods (even though I am really excited about the OTT), lately I've been looking into historical campaigns, that happen before FS2, or campaigns without tens of mods in it. These campaigns usually retain the feeling of FS2, even without Shivans.
