Okay, I am a little confused here.

Whats the the current, most updated, stable MediaVP for FS2_Open?
Is it the mv_complete.vp and the music.vp?

Any of the 3.6.10 MediaVPs. Mv_Complete just contains all the others (except mv_music) wrapped into one big file.

No. One of the things that should be clear to every FSO player is this: There are builds and there are MediaVPs.

Builds are versions of the FSO game engine. The actual piece of software that allows you to play. currently recommended build is 3.6.10 RC3.

MediaVPs are a collection of graphical and audio enhancements including models, textures, effects, music tracks and so on. They are distributed in .vp format since the FSO game engine can read those and they are easy to use. Current release of MediaVPs is 3.6.10.

Also note that some of the mediavps features require a recent build. But all of the RC builds are definitely recent enough.
