In other words, "homing" was more of a relative term in FS1, at least when it came to Interceptors.

Yeah, if I correctly recall, in FS1, Interceptors and Phoenix Vs are affected by this funny lil' loss of faith just when they're about to nail the target

I suggest playing FS1 through the FSPort mod for FS2.

I wouldn't have a problem with playing FS1 Retail if capital ships didn't have the graphics issues they have that lets you see through the other side of their hull. (Z-culling?)

I don't quite remember such a problem in-game. Only in tech room, maybe. Might be wrong, though. I still have an original copy of Conflict: FreeSpace. Two very old CD's... And it's the weirdest thing, one of them has a crack in it, but it still functioned, when I last tried, years ago. Anyway, I have an older computer which is the only one that can run FS (properly patched) without issues. I might put the old comp back into use just to enjoy a little Vintage round of FS Sometime soon...

Hi guys, I've just registered on this forums, after lurking here for a while
I wanted to say thank you for this awesome thing that is SCP with all its mods, it was first time i was able to play FS1 actually.
I'll stay here for a while, don't know if i will be able to contribute anything :/

Because the English native speakers don't pay any attention in school.
You spend 18 years around English speaking, English writing, it shouldn't be possible to fail English classes. Of course I've been proven wrong on that assumption four years ago.
About half of the class for that matter.

Thanks, don't know if what all of you had said was about me,  but you'll soon realize what i was talking about, I've got almost 0% knowledge of English grammar.
Everything i write or speak is done by heart.
And this will soon show up, if it didn't already.

Anyway, i don't want to make a new thread about it, so i'll ask here
I currently have 3.6.12 version of FS and MediaVPS, but i saw that there is .13 versions, fsport v3.3 uses them iirc.
(i know that this is a developers build) but can i download it somewhere ? engine and MediaVPS, should i even bother with those or just wait for .14 release

Windows is nearly always updated each night, Mac less so, and if you're on Linux, it's best to build from source anyway
