Ohh you're right, I should mine plenty of soul sand, I like it's texture and color. Extra netherrack perhaps too. Will look into that soon before it's too late

I've been working on my Keep making it a lot more sense and looking better, hope to make good use of the room I have on small buildings. the Fort looks great too though I need to find some kind of style in it's middle layer that works best. Plenty more to do of course, glad my work is never finished as such

Even though I'm not playing it right now, I'm still watching Minecraft videos on youtube.

Hehe, the Tetris Minecraft effect is fun.

I've had voxelized dreams where the outlines would light up when I looked at them.  I'm pretty sure the center of my vision had crosshairs, too.   And then I found a snow biome, which pissed me off royally because this was several weeks before they'd finally get re-introduced in the full release.  (Snow biome = <3)

I've also dreamed of portals after playing Portal 2, and of bullet patterns after waaaay too much Touhou.  Those were great. xD

Ugh...if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  I took apart the roof on part of my fledgling treehouse to match what I was doing on another part, and now I've had to restart the reassembly twice because I keep mucking up the exact block/half-block placement.  And once I've fixed this, I'll probably have to go back and fix part of the second segment I was working on.  It's always something.

I know what you mean, I've been running Skyrim on my main PC and Minecraft on laptop, side by side, then there's many other things I need to keep track of (my own project for instance) and of course my full time job. @.@

I'll survive somehow Good thing I'm not bored anymore at least.

Heh...here I am trying to build something of a treehouse complex, and when I wandered around a bit on pece's server last night, I found that someone had managed to build actual tree houses.  Like, legitimate structures inside large trees, with foliage for the walls and ceiling.  That's just awesome.

if you are talking about the stuff behind the "baby creeper", to the right of flips place, i think that that was actually built with harvested wood and leaves mostly. i know whoever built it had planted a whole forest around the place.

No, it wasn't near the creeper; it's actually about as far from the main house as that, but in the opposite direction to the south, near the large castle.

Hey qaz, did something weird go on with the server last night?  I was working on rebuilding a roof, and the server went down for a while and didn't come back up, so I called it a night.  When I just logged in, it looks like some stuff was reset; I have some food that I'd eaten last night in my inventory, and I also have a duplicated tool that I don't remember making.  Strangest of all, I seem to be out a roof's worth of stone brick and slabs: the roof's only one level high, so it's not there, and it's not in my inventory.  A few stacks of extra stone brick I'd smelted seem to have vanished too.  Really weird.  I normally do okay without using the storehouse, but I think I'll grab a bit this time, since all of this seemingly vanished into thin air.

Less now after what happened to Pecs server and my connection. Still hasn't remedied, and I've done all I could on my end

Server was down for about 10 hours yesterday, only reason it went back online is because I was bored in school and decided to ssh for the hell of it. If it goes down in the future, please PM me or contact me on IRC if you can.
Mongoose: Player data isn't saved at the same rate as block data, it's this discrepancy which led to you losing stuff. If I recall correctly, player data is saved very infrequently.
