Heh, so if I'd had the stuff laid out on my roof instead of on my person at whatever time the data was saved, it would have been fine.  Figures.

which only actually works when the server didnt kill itself via using up all the availible ram. if that happens, good luck getting any commands getting through.

Yes, I know, I've run servers myself and had the same issue pop up.  What I meant is that if you occasionally force the server to do a full save when it's not busy being dead, then you wont lose as much player and chest item data if and when it does crash.  In other words it could be a preemptive measure.

Just life mostly and over-working because of consumer holidays and such, I did do more edits to my Keep if you're feeling bored, Trashman, open for ideas how to improve too.

Just keep a jar of each and you can rename them as fit, so if you want to play 1.0, rename the 1.8 minecraft.jar to minecraft1.8.jar and rename the 1.0 Minecraft jar to minecraft.jar, and vice versa.

Meh..for me it's work..it's 8 hours working on computer..then I come home and make lunch..and I want to close my blood-shot eyes for an hour just to give the poor things a rest.

Without counting anything else that pops up during the day (and 8 hours of sleep)..I still have to divide what remanining time I have between Skyrim, Minecraft, watching things on the net and modding.
