Can't say enough good things about the ancient cutscenes. They were that something extra in freespace1. You know HLP made a model pack featuring ancient ships? They used the design of the Knososs portol as a basis.

I'm glad you spoke up, because it would actually help if things were the other way around.  If we supplied you with a music pack, would you be willing to test it on your missions and/or the ported FS1 campaign?

Yes, certainly. I know the music.tbl and *-mus.tbm format pretty well, so I should be able to solve any technical problem that might arise with the music pack.

Wow Darius made this himself? I am supremely impressed. I've always liked the gliding piano which picks up past the 1:30 mark. Really added to that one mission in Age of Aquarious.

Sorry for the late response.  Work has been very busy with E3 and all, I haven't had time to listen to Darius' track or even play Alien Swarm...  Not that I know what that is.

About the remix status, that should be it for this installment.  Thanks to everyone for their requests and feedback.  While I didn't get to them all, I had to prioritize given the time allowed and I was able to complete all of the original Freespace tracks before I moved back to Chicago - so it's just a matter of time before they find their way into the main game build. There are a total of 109 new tracks for Freespace alone.

I'm also planning to distribute all the tracks on soundcloud some day soon, but have yet to come up with a plan for how to go about it.  I'll ping this newsgroup if and when I get to that.
