Love the new Mentu; not sure about the curves barrels on multipart turrets.

Cheers, but the MP stays how they are.

If you don't own ndo2 you should, will make your life a lot easier. Creating very clean normal maps with it is very easy with a little practice.
I got it yesterday and played around with it, it shows promise but I'll need more practise with it to put the program to any good use c: Thanks for the info!
Looking pretty deadly.
If we're in the nitpicking stage though, I'd say that that center seam needs work. Were i texturing I think I'd reduce the mirroring slightly to avoid having the seam run perfectly through the center like that, but then again I don't texture.
I'll save that bit (if needed) to the last depending on how the normals come out but for me it's not a big issue c:
It's gorgeous texturing, but if I could suggest two small colour changes - the main scale texture should probabyl have a little bit more green in it, like the original mentu texture, and that sky blue strip could probably be changed to one of the more traditional Vasudan glowy colours - more of a royal blue, or yellow.
But I have to reiterate - truly, truly amazing work here. I really hope you take another look at that Newet texture when you're done with this - a few more Vasudan models of this calibre would be incredibly welcome.
Thank you!, I added more green into the tilemap and it worked a bit better, as for the glowmaps yes I agree they need more work perhaps reduce teh intensity of the blue ones...
I'm a fan of the cuhttp://www.hard-light.net/forums/Smileys/HLP/biggrin.gifrvy turrets.
yay!

They look frail... fits in well with the Mentu
I'm sure a man (like yourself) apprciates this image then.

this turret was only made for fun and in no way this silly thing will be usedLove the turrets but I also agree with Black Wolf, the plates should be greener and a little more varied.
Keep up the good work!
cheers! I have bonked on the plates a bit. c: How is your path progressing?
I'm about 90% done with the textures now, just doing straightening some of the more dodgy stuff in the machinery textures and adjustments. Soon I'll start on the debris models and texture and all that jazz, the turret rigging and other stuff has already been done earlier.
