The Screenshot may not be remarkable on its own but the story of leading up it is:

For those not in the know, this is from Heroes of the Storm's Towers of Doom-Map (which is a point-control map, on which the usual "destroy the Core" objective can only be completed by scoring wins on the objectives.). I was playing the Red Team' Keal'Thalas (mid range ability and AoE DPS carry).

While both Red and Blue teams were engaged in a 4v4 combat around the mid objectives (which as you can see the Red Team lost), the Blue Team's Li-Ming (mid to long range ability and AoE DPS - not a carry but fragile) and I were engaged in a fight on bottom objective. Red had a slight level advantage but still the fight Keal vs Li-Ming is quite stacked in favour of Li-Ming in this case (she has superior range and an escape option, while I only just gained the option to tank some damage, and because enemy team had to options to negate the high-damage Pyroblast-heroic of Keal's I opted not use it, had I chosen it maybe it would have been stacked in my favour).

And I won! Just barely still but the kill and the objective were mine... (I got swatted by an angry Blue Team only a minute later, so victory was short lived)

Then Red Team went on to win the game, and while I was not the MVP (I just never was were our tanks was) this was worth recording.

Heroes of Storm Pre-Season is finally over.... Time for some stats:

I finished ranked 32 (Player Segment 64-65 percent of the population; Season best was 31) with an almost even (356-355) win-loose. A pretty average showing, but I am a pretty average player.

Most Wins: 55 as Lt. Morales (Ranged Support), runner up 40 as Zagara (Ranges Specialist)
Most assists: 1269 as Lt. Morales (Ranged Support), runner up 476 as Zagara (Ranges Specialist)
Most kills: 219 as Keal'Thas (Ranged Assasin), runner up 173 as Lt. Morales (Ranged Support)
Most deaths: 330 as Lt. Morales (Ranged Support), runner up 199 as Keal'Thas (Ranged Assasin)

Its a bit suprising that Zagara has so low metrics because she is the hero I play most... perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Ranked is a Draft-mode and I wound up as support often (hence the strong numbers of Morales). That Lunara has such a small presence is also kinda weird because I like playing her a lot more than I do Keal or Li-Ming and do so with more success (maybe that Lunara came out after Keal might have screwed the metrics a bit).
And the numbers on Morales ... well yeah, like playing her and she is one of the more powerful Supports in the game... what else can I say?

Worst Map: Tomb of the Spider Queen, runner up Sky Temple

Worst Map is hardly suprising, I like neither battleground. That my percentage on Battlefield of Enternity is so high was a suprise but it also a map where Morales and Zagara seem to do particuarlly well.

German battleships always seem to be able to ram better. I've gotten more ramming kills in my Nassau, usually against high-tier ships, than I have in anything else against any ship.

So after myself and a couple cruisers fought our way through a flank's worth of enemies and contesting the cap our two Kongos decided that resetting our cap was a silly idea.  Still I did get to jackknife a cheeky DD and an enemy battleship in a single torpedo salvo and that's always a hoot.

Seriously I just kited and tanked two Nor Carls, a Tirpitz, a Bismarck, a Fuso, a New Mex and a Penny Cola.  Stayed angled just inside my redonkulous secondaries range (10K!) while bouncing absurd numbers of shells and punching them back with 38 cm AP.  I tied up five BBs for nearly the entire game on a control point game, they didn't even bother capping.   If I didn't run out of map, turn around and charge them I probably could have kited them into another match.

Yeah, those german bbs look sturdy as hell. But eventually everyone dies... they succumb fast to plunging fire, as a bb player you just need to keep'em at distance for as long as you can.

Starting with the Gneiss they all can make 30 knots or more, in a lot of cases German BBs can dictate the range.  In fact the hardest thing is keeping your aggression in check.  They can still be burned down with multiple fires and their torpedo protection is abysmal but angled against AP inside plunging range its bananas.

At Tier VIII the revenue stream starts to get a bit tight before precipitously falling into the red at Tier IX.  Gone are the CBT days when I bankrolled my Shimakaze purchase almost purely on Kagerō matches.  Its worth keeping some comfy Tier V-VIIs in the stables to grind credits or get a high Tier Prem like Torpitz, Scharners or Atago-a-go-go.

Well I'm only up to the König myself. I've come across Gneisys on my Nagato a few times and as I told ya, as long as you don't show broadside and keep your distance, they are outclassed in the BB role. On a cruiser however, that thing is a dreaded sight.
Fast reload + fast&nimble + sturdy = CA decimator.

König is a beast.
Yeah, she is slower, has lesser range and so on, but I soloed a Bayern and heavily damaged a Nagato before some pesky DD thought about ruining my day.
Can't wait for the B hull on my Gneisenau.
