Are there any decent C++ compilers available online? I've heard of GCC but don't know where to get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want it for Windows, there's a few other packages you'll need to install first, but there are links from the gcc home page.

If you want it for Linux, um, well you probably already have it.

Can they be downloaded as complete apps anywhere, rather than myriad files with strange extensions like .bz.
